The Grand Glacendell Town Library.
Continuing on your journey to help locate Master Rowan’s lost Pokémon, you find yourself wandering into the grand Glacendell Town Library, a cozy haven from the icy winds outside. The library is dimly lit, with warm lights casting a golden glow over rows and rows of old, leather-bound books and modern tomes alike. The faint smell of parchment and polished wood fills the air, reminding you of how much history must be kept within these walls. You notice a few researchers and townsfolk scattered around, each lost in their books, barely noticing the small adventuring party you’re gathering.
Curious to learn more about the history of Pokémon in this region, you log into one of the library’s vintage computers. The screen hums to life, revealing digitized archives of Pokémon lore. You discover that Glacendell was once a gathering place for flying and ice-type Pokémon trainers, all drawn by the cold climate and the impressive flora. As you scan through pages of notes, you realize something odd—the sound of faint tapping against glass.
You turn around and spot a large window overlooking an ancient oak tree, its frost-covered branches stretching out like frozen veins against the gray sky. Beyond the tree, you spot the next mission Pokémon—an energetic Fletchling pecking furiously at the glass, clearly trying to get outside! You quickly approach the window and try to encourage Fletchling to fly down, calling softly to it, but it seems too flustered to budge.
Thinking fast, you reach into your bag and scatter a trail of crumbs along the windowsill and down onto the floor. Within moments, Fletchling’s keen eyes notice the trail, and, fluttering excitedly, it hops down to join you and your team. After a hearty crumb feast, it chirps happily and joins your growing band, settling in beside the Pikachu and the Farfetch’d.
With Fletchling now part of the group, you decide to check out a few books from the library on water-type Pokémon habitats, hoping they might offer some clues on where to find Oshawott and Froakie. You approach the front desk, where a friendly librarian is sorting through stacks of returned books. When you ask if they’ve seen any lost looking Pokémon resembling Oshawott or Froakie in the area, the librarian shakes their head with a thoughtful smile.
“You won’t find them in Glacendell, I’m afraid,” they say, glancing out the frosty windows. “This town is too cold and dry for water types. But I’ve heard of sightings in nearby villages where the springs run warm. Perhaps you might find them somewhere with a bit more warmth… maybe near a bathhouse or a cozy shower stream?”
Thanking the librarian for the advice, you gather your team and step back out into the chill, spirits lifted. The next part of your journey is coming into focus—a search for warm waters where Oshawott and Froakie might be hiding, eagerly awaiting the day a new friend like you would find them. With Fletchling now in tow, you feel your team’s bond growing stronger, ready for whatever the road ahead holds.
