Snowveil Lodge in Glacendell.
Your journey to help Master Rowan find his missing Pokémon has led you to the quaint, frosty village of Glacendell Town. Nestled between snow-capped mountains, Glacendell is peaceful and picturesque, with pine trees dusted in fresh snow lining the cobbled streets. As dusk settles in, a warm glow from the lamps outside the buildings lights your path. Deciding to spend the night before continuing your search, you make your way to the only inn in town, the “Snowveil Lodge,” a cozy hotel with stone walls, timber beams, and the faint aroma of cedarwood filling the air.
Upon entering, you immediately feel a sense of warmth, both from the crackling fire in the stone hearth and the friendly buzz of people gathered around tables, chatting softly. You approach the front desk to check in, but as you set down your bags, something catches your eye. Behind a few stacked boxes by the door, there’s a sudden rustle and a quick, darting movement. Curiosity piqued, you step closer, gently moving aside a box to take a better look.
To your surprise, you come face-to-face with a Farfetch’d, clutching its leek tightly and eyeing you with both suspicion and a hint of weariness. This isn’t just any Farfetch’d—it has the distinctive look that matches the description of one of Rowan’s missing Pokémon! Before you can react, a friendly, slightly flustered clerk approaches. With an apologetic smile, they explain, “Ah, that little Farfetch’d has been sneaking in here almost every evening! Poor thing, always dashing out just as quickly as it comes in. It seems like it’s been lost for a while, and we haven’t been able to keep it here long enough to find help.”
You crouch down, offering the Farfetch’d a reassuring smile, and reach out slowly, speaking softly to help it feel safe. Recognizing your gentle approach, the Farfetch’d relaxes, clutching its prized leek closer. You promise it that you’ll protect both it and its leek from harm, earning its trust. After a few moments of hesitation, it flutters its wings and waddles up to you, deciding to follow you on your journey.
With the Farfetch’d now by your side, you finalize your check-in with the clerk, who hands you your room key. As they do, you remember to ask if they’ve noticed a Fletchling that seemed out of place or maybe lost. The clerk tilts their head thoughtfully, then replies, “I haven’t seen one myself, but you know, Fletchlings are drawn to high perches and tend to gaze out windows, almost like they’re daydreaming. If I had to guess, you might find one sitting at a windowsill, looking longingly at the big oak tree just outside over the driveway. It’s a quiet spot, and Fletchlings seem to like it.”
With this new lead, you thank the clerk, and with Farfetch’d at your side, you make your way to your room to settle in for the night. But as you climb the stairs, you can’t help but keep an eye on each windowsill you pass, wondering if perhaps the elusive Fletchling might already be watching you from the shadows. With each step, you feel you’re closer to reuniting Rowan with his missing Pokémon.
